AFRICA HOUSE CHAIRS THE FCT LIVESTOCK DEVELOPMENTAL PLAN UNDER THE PUBLIC PRIVATE PARTNERSHIPS (PPP) FACILITATION CLUSTER
The Global Director of Africa House, Engr, Abayomi Onasanya was invited by the Federal Capital Territory Administration to the “FCTA LIVESTOCK DEVELOPMENT PLAN 2022-2031 IMPLEMENTATION & STAKEHOLDERS ENGAGEMENT MEETING”, held on the 9th to 10th August, 2022; where he chaired the cluster responsible for facilitating Public Private Partnerships (PPP) in the FCT Livestock Development Plan. This cluster included twenty-five other stakeholders from the academia, private sector, livestock industry and other player driving the livestock industry in Nigeria. This investment cluster made recommendations the government of the FCT on steps in facilitation investments into the FCT and ways of ensuring peaceful coexistence between the investors, indigenes and operators in the industry. The Global Director of Africa House, Engr. Abayomi Onasanya presented the recommendation to the FCT on behalf of the other members of the group and the report was presented to the FCT for inclusion in the policy documents. In attendance, was the Minister of State for the Federal Capital Territory: Dr. Ramatu Tijani Aliyu; who stated the commitment of the FCT in ensuring peaceful co-existence between all the stakeholders in the Livestock industry and the resolve of the FCT to enable investments in the Livestock Industry.
