What is the Africa Food Program

A program designed to add value to harvested farm produce across Africa via modern food processing in order to ensure longevity, avoid spoilage, increase revenue of farmers, ensure steady food supply and to keep food prices stable.

Produce we are accepting under the program:

Groundnut

Shea nuts

Tomato

Soybean

Maize

Cocoa

Jathropha

How does the program work:

Step 1: Farmer registers their produce on our website or via phone call to our regional extension officers.

Step 2: Farmer is given a date to bring his or her produce to the nearest Africa House Processing Center.

Step 3: Produce is collected at the processing center and farmer is issued with pink payment and confirmation slip.

Step 4: Farmer proceeds to cash the pink payment slip as per date written on the slip.

The program increases the food processing capacity of Africa.

The program eliminates the rejection of African Produce due to poor processing techniques.

The program opens an export pathway for African products to the world.

The program provides easy access to markets for farmers and food brokers.

1- I understand that registration does not imply automatic acceptance into the Program. The decision to admit or reject a place is at the sole discretion of Africa House.

5-Africa House reserves the right to request for more information and documentation in order to complete the process of admittance into the Program, for the purposes of verifying the information provided during the application process.

6-Admittance into the Program does not guarantee any form of financial rewards or benefits, neither does it guarantee your products would be purchased or offtaken by the Africa House, its affiliated agencies and partners.

7-The final decision to offtake or buy your products depends on a separate agreement between all the parties involved in the purchase or offtake process.
